Why grape seed flour?
This is a 100% natural, dark flour made from grape seeds after the oil has been extracted using a cold-pressing process. The special feature of grape seed flour is its high OPC value (vegetable substance with a high anti-oxidant effect). The anti-oxidant effect of any product can be expressed by means of the ORAC value (Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity). Grape seed flour is among the products with the highest ORAC values. In addition, this flour is very rich in fibre and suitable for a gluten-free diet. Grape seed flour retains its active substances during heating and it can therefore be used for many applications such as baking cakes, bread, pizza, pancakes etc., the coating of products before cooking, or in smoothies. Grape seed flour adds a savoury flavour to dishes.
